Orangutan is one of the endangered animal category. So, it’s our job to keep their existence. The name, orangutan comes from Indonesian. It means “man of the forest”.

In the ancient times, the population of orangutan spread in southeast part of Asia, like Thailand, Vietnam, China and Malaysia. Now, it’s just a few of them. The hunter often kill their mothers to get their son and sell them to the collector.

“Based on recent surveys, biologists believe that only 50,000-60,000 orangutans remain in the wild. They have lost approximately 80% of their forest home in the past 20 years.”
